The intensity of Accinni's "Species Intervention" series has reached a crescendo in "Hive." Book Four delivers the author's amazing story-telling again with startling surprises, mind-boggling twists and turns and an eagerness in this reader to keep going (evidenced by my reading of Echo, Armageddon and now Hive in the past 5 days).SPOILERSMany answers have been revealed including a revival (choice of words intended) of Netty, Baby and Wil. The "6609" number finally makes sense, too, which isOkay I just finished the first 4 parts of the Species Intervention books and I must say I agree with some of the reviews, the introduction of some of the new characters is a bit much. I am truly disappointed with what happened to Suzie wont give anything away for that of spoiling the book for readers, but I found that some of the events that happened were just filler,that took away from what the book was really about. I have to say this book did get on my nerves more than the others which I loved, hence the different stars, it was still very good but I think there was just too much going on again. I think the loran and Seth storyline really annoyed me. Why is it women in the middle of a disaster pick up a man near the site of a murder and never seem to connect the dots. The continuity of these books is superb. All of the characters from the previous books are in this one. The treatment of bringing those characters into this story keeps you glued and interested in the whole series. You'll be captivated by every single world. The story is so compellingly told that you're going to want for the aliens to destroy the whole human race. Only a gifted author can invoke such thoughts, emotional, and passion. Read this book. It's worth the time.
